Psychotherapy
My guiding light is loving-kindness. I work from a non-judgmental, non-hierarchical stance grounded in a person-centered perspective. My approach is to co-create the space in a collaborative, organic way. I utilize simple but beneficial tools like mindful listening, warmth, humor, and authenticity to create safety and rapport so that understanding, discourse, and engagement can flow.
I am also creative, spiritual, and mystical, and open to integrating additional supportive practices in the space like breath-work, guided meditation, yogic practices/postures, artistic/creative expression, tarot/ oracle cards, and even astrology/lunar wisdom. I hope to build pathways and openings in whatever way feels most supportive and appropriate to foster insight, movement, self-care, and unconditional self-love.
Each experience is personal, complex, and layered. I am open-hearted, humble, flexible, sensitive, and curious. Prioritizing client’s safety is the most fundamental and important piece for me. In essence, this is trauma-informed care and I think we can all benefit from such mindfulness and care in our endeavors, activities, and relationships.
I want to know what promotes connection and embodiment, and intuition? And what gets in the way? In our beliefs, in our actions, in our relationships? I hope to engage the body, mind, and spirit. What a privilege and gift it is to be a psychotherapist and humble helper - to continue to be open to expansion, learning, and growth - how we change, how we see, how we are moved by the experience of sitting with another’s humanity and vulnerability and process. There is so much beauty. It is sensitive yet rewarding work.
As often as we may find/sit in grief and sorrow, we also laugh, rejoice, and celebrate in the alchemical healing process. W all want to and deserve to be witnessed, understood, seen, and celebrated, and being a person trusted with this sacred responsibility of witnessing, understanding, seeing, and celebrating is one valuable honor.
I am so grateful to be a heart-centered therapist and I can’t wait to meet you and connect with you!

I have always felt from a young age that my purpose in this lifetime is to have fun. “Fun” is why I am here… I think. And, I also happen to be a therapist. :) Coming to therapy may feel daunting. It is a sensitive step. The way I approach this work is through humor, lightness, and safety. My greatest intention is for you to feel safe to express your needs, concerns, goals, and dreams and be your authentic self.
Processing emotions and expressing yourself, as you are, is the path, and I am here to support you on that path. The relationship between therapist and client acts as a healing antidote; witnessing is the elevating, the magic, and the medicine.
My style is integrative, holistic, embodied, and adaptive. Drawing from over a decade of yoga teaching experience and over twenty years as a student of yoga, I bring practices that ground, awaken, and unite the spirit. For example, learning how to practice radical rest is one of the most valuable tools for self-care and holistic health. From that place, more insights are revealed. Learning how to be in this present moment, tune in, and relax are vital tools for cultivating connection, compassion, and conscious awareness. Learning how to attune to your own rhythms is one of the most personal, primary ways of cultivating your awareness and relationship to your own health/well-being.
I have also engaged in many years of experiential, self-taught creative + spiritual art-making practices and believe in the value of having consistent practices or rituals. I enjoy meditation and breath-work of many forms. Making art and engaging in various of forms of creative self-expression help me to connect deeply for cultivating my intuition and awareness. With humility and discipline, I practice what I promote.
I embrace the art of ceremony and ritual, creative free expression, and movement as liberation for building connection, process, awareness, intuition, integration… and ultimately, transcendence.
With you, in therapy, I can provide yoga instruction, guided meditation, visualizations, creative/expressive practices, lunar wisdom, womb wisdom (aka menstrual cycle awareness + more), holistic health insights, i.e., vegan/plant-based eating, sleep hygiene, astrological/tarot insights, and more to support your personal health and healing process.
The therapeutic relationship acts as an antidote to the natural stressors of life. Process is valued. Healing is personal and individual, and your growth and evolution is nuanced, layered, complex… wherever you are will be honored, supported, and validated. And, I believe in supporting the natural unfolding of your story and expression. I will provide useful strategies and ideas for opening up your heart and voice so that you are practicing your courage. I am affirming and accepting and will personalize and adjust my approach to you and your specific needs and inquiries.
To simply build a connection to the breath and to learn how to regulate your nervous system are radical tools for healing and well-being. Learning how to slow down and be present with your body, mind, heart, and spirit - being present with what is - is how you build that connection to self and the connection with your heart. And, through these practices, is how you develop and grow the self… the authentic self. It is always practice. It is showing up. And it is letting go. It is a continuous opening of the heart.
Change is a process. At times, we resist it, and we do not need to go through change alone. You deserve to be seen, heard, celebrated, supported, and witnessed. Therapy can be a space where you practice this relational safety and support. Your story, your process, your emotional expression is valuable and therapy can be that space where you “let it rip” - your truth, your process, your feelings - in real time.
As I have often shared with folks when the topic of therapy comes up, having a relationship with a therapist is a commitment and investment in your health. You do not have to be going through a crisis to see a therapist. You just need to be human.
There are many different paths for healing, reflection, and well-being and sometimes the path looks different at different times and for different reasons. Still, whatever the path, whatever the detour, whatever the situation, our song needs to be sung and heard. A therapist can be a part of nurturing your unique relationship with the music of that song. The notes are your own. The listening is the healing.
“There’s a reason we are drawn to gazing at the ocean. It is said the ocean provides a closer reflection of who we are than any mirror,” writes Rick Rubin.
